HONOR LAND DAY

Design for the demonstration “Honor Land Day”
On March 30, 1976, Israeli police killed six Palestinian demonstrators and wounded hundreds. This event is commemorated every year as Land Day. It is a moment to reflect on the past, but also on what is happening today: tens of thousands of deaths in Gaza and the destruction of homes, schools and hospitals.

FLYER 'GEEF ANGST EN HAAT GEEN STEM'

Geef angst en haat geen stem Flyer design for an action in the center of The Hague. Activists hung a 20-meter banner in public space. The action took place two days before the Dutch parliamentary elections of 2017, during which many right-wing parties were spreading messages of fear and hate. It was an important moment to present a counter-voice near the heart of Dutch politics, the Binnenhof.
The message remains highly relevant today (2026).
The flyer was widely distributed among shoppers who stopped to watch the action. March 2017

MASS ACTION GUIDEBOOK & PODCAST

Design: Mass Open Action Guidebook
Together with Greenpeace colleagues, I co-wrote and designed this guidebook with tips and practical advice for organizing well-structured mass actions. A podcast was later created as well.

AFSTUDEERPROJECT 'MADE IN BANGLADESH'

Made in Bangladesh
Research project in Bangladesh about the dangers in the garment industry. As a designer, how can I contribute to improving working conditions in factories? I spoke with workers, visited factories and eventually collaborated with workers to redesign all emergency signage in one factory. Back in the Netherlands, I created a series of screen-printed posters as part of the crowdfunding campaign for the project.

only work for initiatives I believe in.”
